Hi, guys I felt bad missing school for two days, but the reason was that I went to Canada to visit my grand mother in the hospital. She had an open heart surgery on Thursday and thank God she did pretty well . All my mother's family was there to give support. I met with my cousins that I haven't see for fifteen years ago.
We were very excited talking about the good experience that we had when we used to live in Colombia. On Friday they gave me a tour around the city in Quebec. We went to a nice restaurant to have dinner but my big surprise was that most of the people spoke French. I was in shock because I couldn't communicate with the waiters and tell them what I wanted, my cousins had to translate for me. continuate......
Did you go to the old part of Quebec? Isn't it beautiful? I haven't been there for quite a while, but I love it. It's the closest one can get to Europe without going to Europe! I'm so glad your grandmother's surgery was successful. I'm sure it was wonderful for her to have you there.
